Important: Beko error code meanings are not uniform across all models and generations, and different sources sometimes attribute different meanings to the same code. So we show the most commonly reported association with a variance note; the final reference is the user manual for your model number. Send us the code and model number and we'll confirm the meaning before the visit.

Alerts and codes on Beko fridges

Fridges with a digital display may show alerts such as a high-temperature alarm or door-open alarm, and some show codes pointing to a sensor or the defrost system. These vary widely between models, so we don't publish a generic table that could mislead you.

  • Door alarm: make sure doors are closed and nothing blocks the seal.
  • High-temperature alarm after a power cut or a large load: may be temporarily normal; watch it for a few hours.
  • Any recurring code: photograph it with the model label and send it on WhatsApp.

How to read the code

  1. On models with a display: the code shows directly, usually E followed by a number.
  2. On models without a display: programme or indicator lights may flash in a pattern representing the code.
  3. Note the code and the stage it appeared, then unplug for a few minutes and restart once.
  4. If the code returns, don't keep retrying; send the code and model number.
